Co-Station Manager
Adela Skowronski is an incoming senior and Co-Station Manager of WRSE 88.7 FM. She's at Elmhurst College pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Business, with a minor in French, and the goal of eventually working at a radio station herself! This is her 7th semester with WRSE and her 6th semester as host/ founder of "The Underbelly Hours" - a program that interviews and spins tunes from local unsigned musicians. She's also a freelance cellist, arranger, songwriter, and most recently, avid gardener! Co-Station Manager
Henry McCarthy is a Co-Station Manager of WRSE 88.7 FM. He is senior at Elmhurst College majoring in Accounting Finance. He has been with the radio station since his Freshman year. This year is he excited to help with the new upcoming events at Elmhurst Brewing Company. If he is not in the station you can find him painting or playing the guitar, and usually begging his boss to turn on 88.7 FM during his shift.
Secretary
Brenda Castillo is the secretary of WRSE 88.7 FM. She is a senior at Elmhurst College majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Spanish. She plans on sitting for the CPA exam once she graduates. This is her second semester as a member of WRSE fam and she is excited to see how much WRSE will grow in this upcoming year!
Music Director
Samantha Chan is the music director of WRSE 88.7 FM. She is a senior at Elmhurst College and has been involved with the radio for three years but she does not have a radio show. This is her second year as the music director. Sam spent the Spring and Summer of 2019 going through well over 1,000 CDs in the radio back room.
Production Director
Daniel Cortez is the Production Director for WRSE Radio. Daniel Cortez is a music business major entering his third year at Elmhurst. He has been with the radio for 3 semesters and has his own band called, Big Groove Time.
PR & News Director
Valentina Poggi is a junior at Elmhurst College pursing a Biology degree. In the future, she plans to attend University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign to become a veterinarian. She has been with the radio station for about 2.5 years and she loves alternative rock. She is the co-host of Fridays with V & Lo which plays all of the great music to start your weekend off right!
PR Director
Lauren Vana is a senior at Elmhurst College pursuing a degree in Art and English. She has been a part of the WRSE family for three years now and she also is the co-host of Fridays with V & Lo Show with fellow PR director, Valentina Poggi. In Lauren's free time you can find her playing the drums or kicking it to a cubs game!
Station Advisor
Jen Anthony is WRSE's advisor. She works with the station's engineering team to keep things running smoothly. Jen graduated from Elmhurst in May 2018, and was involved with the station for 4 years prior as a DJ and executive board member.
